Hello Arts Organizations and Artists,
We hope you are in good health and staying safe during this most trying and unique time. As your local designated Arts partner for Placer County and the California Arts Council, we have been staying informed of what is transpiring in regards to support of the Arts at both a local and national level.
I wanted to share a link that was sent to us by Eileen Speaker from the Placer Community Foundation containing useful information on the recently passed national CARES act.

I also wanted to update you on the status of our Community Grants program. This was to be a time of accepting new applications for the next round of Community Grants which covered the time period of July 1-December 31, 2020. We have decided to suspend this application process for the foreseeable future until such time that we can make decisions on the best usage of available funding through our partners and private donations. We will undoubtedly be working closely with the California Arts Commission and Placer County on solutions. .We will be sure to keep everyone informed once we have more information.
In addition, we will be in contact with current grantees on the status of projects for which you were approved. We are aware that many of these projects were not able to be produced and we be discussing options on a case by case basis.
In the meantime, be sure to check out our website:

where we have online activities, videos, an arts auction fundraiser for local arts and a talent show. You are welcome to give us content to share on our site by visiting the link above.
Do not hesitate to email me if I can be of assistance
Sincerely
,
ACPC Executive Director Jim Crosthwaite
