Really nice WWII Army Air Forces Ike Jacket. Has a theater made bullion Mediterranean Army Air Forces path and theater done bullion Overseas Stripes and Meritorious Unit Commendation wreath, showing this one was actually overseas.

Only defect on this one is that the zipper seems to be stuck and is pulling loose. The zipper is not original to the jacket and was added as a custom tailored option. I did not try to force it and will leave it to the buyer to choose how they want to proceed.

Really nice and neat WWII bombardiers case / satchel. Amazing shape for the age, the white you see on one side is the remains of an old UNC school sticker probably put on when someone used this in school in the 50's. What is left will peel off easily leaving no marking but some collectors like the history as-is so we will leave that decision to the buyer. All zippers work, the leather handle is in good shape especially given the age.

WWII Army Air Forces ANS-31 flight suit. Very nice shape, only defects are some small tears on the backs of the legs by the cuff where buttons were located, as is typical for these as the buttons would snag and rip.

Very rare Manhattan Project letter and employee award badge. This is the original letter sent to all employees who worked on the Manhattan Project the day after the first atomic bomb was dropped.

The ID card is named to Dorothy Grosch, who was the wife of Dr Herb Grosch, a famous pioneer in in computer science for whom Grosch's Law is named. This makes it easy to research and find information on, and is a nice tie-in with the history of computer science. On an online autobiography of Herb Grosch he talks about her work doing spectrograms of Uranium, making this one of the rare times where you can have knowledge of exactly what a person did along with the name.
