Yap's Annual Homecoming Festival is a heritage celebration recognizing the contributions and bonds from the past that have made Yap what it is today. Past festivals have honored the Palau connection as well as the Chamarro connection of the people from Guam living here after World War II.

The 2015 celebration, June 17-20, 2015 is going to recognize 30 years of diving history in Yap with special guests, Hall of Fame Dive Pioneers Mr. Ernie Brooks (2005), Mr. Leslie Leaney (2012) and Yap's own Bill Acker (2014). Ernie's career with the Brooks Institute of Technology is legendary and Leslie is, among many other things in the diving world, the co-founder of the Historical Diving Society. The opportunity to meet, dive and socialize with these world recognized leaders in the dive industry is a chance you won't want to miss.
