Worship with us Communion Sunday 8:15 & 10:45
Special Service of Prayer
This Sunday during the 8:15 service, we will be having a special service of worship and prayer. Using the service of rededication we studied in Nehemiah as our model, our pastors, staff and lay leaders feel that this is an important time to respond to world events by seeking God’s guidance and healing together as a church community. The special service will include guided times of worship, scripture reading, confession and prayer aimed at helping us to connect more fully to Christ and one another. We will also be participating in Holy Communion.

This will be the first of four special services of worship and prayer planned for the 2021 year. We pray that you will feel encouraged to join us online or in person as we set an example of prayer and seeking God to our community and world.
REMINDER: Childcare is now available for children 6 weeks to 5 years during the 10:45 service.
COVID Update
Our COVID Team met earlier this week and after prayerful consideration has determined that the time is appropriate to resume in-person small groups. We will do this with a phased approach:
  • February 21 - 6th grade Confirmation Class and Youth Group meeting in person
  • March 7 - Small groups will be permitted to meet on campus
  • March 21 - Sunday School classes will resume on campus for all ages

This phased re-opening will allow us ample time to put certain parameters in place like securing Sunday School spaces that can safely accommodate class numbers and giving our Sunday School leaders time to develop a plan to also stream their class sessions.
We have been excitedly awaiting this day and are so glad to be able to resume these programs! As we do, we will have protocols in place to keep our congregation safe (i.e. like wearing a mask, social distancing, refraining from handshakes and hugs, bringing your own coffee/refreshments and taking advantage of the hand sanitizing stations). We ask that everyone please abide by these precautions so we can keep our congregation safe and healthy.

Financial Update: A Big Blessing for 2020
You may recall at the end of 2020 our finance committee challenged the church to a giving goal of $220,000 to fulfill our December budget, as well as support our Youth Group and local missions. This past Sunday, Robin Teal shared that our congregational giving for December was $296,000, well over our goal! THANK YOU, church family, for going above and beyond and helping us meet this challenge so we can support our Youth and local missions. Our finance committee will be meeting to discuss what to do with the remaining funds, and we will let church know how they will be used.
Small Group Sign-ups Are Now Open!
