Also, we wanted to point out an important change regarding virtual students' attendance on the first day of school. See schedule, below.

Livestream Mass once a month for each grade level.

Speak with a priest: students may arrange an online meeting with Fr. Anthony to talk about their spiritual life and receive guidance.

Online Meet Ups: Special interest small groups that meet once a week to discuss spirituality and other topics. A great way to connect to other virtual students and students on campus. Students can sign up here.

Campus Ministry Instagram Account: Your student can keep up with life on campus through our Instagram account here.
Purchasing E-Texts & Student Schedules

On Monday, August 24, all students will be able to see their schedule via FACTS (RenWeb). If a student has an issue with his/her schedule, there will be a Request for Schedule Change Form available starting Wednesday, August 26. Students (or parents) should not reach out to his/her individual School Counselor, as all potential changes will only be considered if submitted on the form. Students will be able to access this form via his/her School Counselor’s Schoology group. The only changes that will be considered are true errors - i.e. the student has already taken the course, a level change, a lunch change due to a documented medical condition, or there is an open space where a class is supposed to be. An open space is NOT the same as a Free Period. A Free Period will actually say Free Period. An empty space is an error and you must complete the form.

Virtual Discipline/Attendance Policy
Parents, there are three waivers that are mandatory for all students, virtual and in person learners, to complete. Please visit the Parent Portal and sign these three waivers. A new waiver, the Virtual Discipline/Attendance Policy has recently been added.

Virtual Discipline/Attendance Policy
All students and parents need to sign the Virtual Discipline and Attendance Policy. Even if your student is attending in-person, we need all students and parents to be familiar with this policy, in case of quarantine. Students will be emailed instructions on their Bishop Moore Email on how to sign the policy.
Parents will find the waiver in the WebForm area of the Parent Portal.

Important Links and Other Information

The entire Student Handbook can be reviewed at the link, above, but we wanted to bring your attention to a few changes to the following items in our handbook.

  • All students are required to wear a snug-fitting mask/facial covering (fully covering nose and mouth) while on BMC property. Masks must be BMC-appropriate and are limited to solid-colors only. Masks must not have any logos or text; the only exception to this rule is the BMC school logo and/or Hornet. Masks with exhalation valves or vents are not permitted, per current CDC recommendations. Additional information about Masks/Face Coverings from the CDC can be found here:

  • Students are required to wear school-issued lanyard with current BMC ID at all times while on BMC property.

  • All BMC jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies, etc. must be in school colors (Black, Gold, Gray or White ONLY); other colors are not permitted to be worn on campus during the school day.

You should have received an introductory email regarding this Crisis hotline resource for students.
