Launching Restoration at the White Sands Missile Range
New Mexico - The White Sands Missile Range, one of Spectra's latest historic preservation projects, is literally from the space age. Considered the "birthplace of the American Space Program", the range is a National Historic Landmark and a New Mexico Historical Monument.
Originally built as the palatial downtown Los Angeles headquarters of the Bank of Italy (later to become Bank of America), Giannini Place is undergoing an adaptive reuse to become the new home of NoMad Hotel.
Most people don't think of Downtown Los Angeles as having a 1914-era Ford Model T Factory. The factory, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is the site of one of Downtown LA's most unique adaptive reuse projects.
