Hello Karen,

Summer is here—longer days, warmer weather, and (hopefully) a little more time to slow down.

We know summer can bring both joy and unique challenges for families, especially those supporting loved ones with disabilities. Whether you're navigating new routines, planning for the future, or just trying to make the most of the season, please know we're here for you. Our team is always available to support you—whether it’s disability-related planning or broader financial goals. We’re just a call or email away and happy to help however we can.

Wishing you a safe, sunny, and restorative summer.

Comprehensive Planning with Your Family in Mind

As you know, we specialize in supporting families with loved ones who have disabilities—helping you navigate programs like ODSP, the RDSP, and planning for future security and care.

But our support doesn’t stop there. We also offer full financial planning and investment management services, including RRSPs, TFSAs, FHSAs, RESPs, and so much more. From estate and tax planning to retirement strategies, we’re here to guide you through every stage of your financial journey—with expertise, care, and a deep understanding of your unique needs.

Use RRSP Contributions to Maximize Your RDSP Grant

The amount of grant and bond money your RDSP receives is based on family net income as reported on your tax return (or your parents’ return if you’re under 18).

For 2025, the key income threshold is $114,750. If your income is close to this amount, making an RRSP contribution before year-end can reduce your net income and potentially qualify you for a higher grant payout in your RDSP.

If you'd like to review your situation or explore how this strategy might apply to you, please connect with us ~ We want to maximize this plans potential !!

Positive Perspectives

"I’m finally the Rachel that I’ve always wanted to become. She’s happy, she’s succeeding and she did it on her own".

I love reading about the journeys of others—learning how they've faced challenges and the tools they've mastered to navigate their day-to-day lives. These stories of strength and perseverance inspire us all to keep pushing forward, no matter the obstacles.

Recognizing National Disability Independence Day

July 26th marks National Disability Independence Day in the U.S., celebrating the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in 1990.

While this is an American milestone, its impact has been felt far beyond.

The ADA inspired global progress in disability rights and helped influence important Canadian legislation.

We take this opportunity to acknowledge the ongoing efforts toward greater inclusion, accessibility, and independence—for all individuals, in every community.
