Anxiety Disorder:

Canadians are no stranger to anxiety. In fact, as much as 4.6 % of the population copes with at least one anxiety disorder on a daily basis.

This should mean finding supports is fairly easy ~ Not! Here is a great article with some strategies to hopefully help.

For some children, simply sitting next to a friend while each are engaged in separate activities is all the interaction they wish!

This pamphlet, Navigation for Adults with a Disability is a well thought out guide for anyone turning 18 or older who doesn't know quite where to start.

Advocates worry federal disability benefit program won't be

fully funded in upcoming budget

Bill C-22, which passed unanimously in June, was meant to lift individuals with disabilities out of poverty by topping up provincial support funding. But the program hasn't yet been allocated funding or been fully designed, and many are concerned the program won't receive the funding it needs this budget, which is expected to be unveiled in March or April.

This will advise you of the maximum grant available for 2024.
