Meet A360's Reading Specialists


Reading Specialists are a crucial part of Academy360's staff, dedicated to helping students attain the comprehension skills and vocabulary necessary for daily life. Meet the reading specialists who serve our Lower and Upper School students.

As a donor and community partner, [words] Bookstore in Maplewood, NJ, has become an important part of the Spectrum360 community and a place for young adults and adults on the spectrum to receive job training and plan for their future. Learn more about the bookstore's impact and contributions.

Join the New York Yankees on their first World Autism Awareness Day event, for a fun-filled outing at Yankee Stadium as they take on the San Francisco Giants on Sunday, April 2, at 1:35 PM!

We are proud to announce that FilmAcademy360 program director David Diianni and a documentary by YAP Film Workshop students have both won awards at the annual NJECC - New Jersey Educational Computing Cooperative Technology Conference.

Libraries are an important Spectrum360 Community Partner for not only our Community-Based Instruction trips and Independence360 outings but also our Community- Based Work Experience.


Two students from our Young Adult Program, Angelina and Corrine, work at the West Caldwell Public Library weekly assisting the Library Manager with pulling and packaging up materials and prepare for intra-library mailings, shelving returned books, DVDs and CDs throughout the library and organizing books for book sales.

  • Join Sussan, Greenwald & Wesler for an in-person "A Transition to Adulthood Workshop". For more information, please view the flyer here. Register here.
  • Alliance 2022-2023 Parent Advocacy Series: The Alliance is again presenting a series of virtual ZOOM presentations and workshops for parents for our 2022-2023 Conference. Registration for all ZOOM Workshops is now available. Check out the the full schedule here.
  • Autistic children (ages 3-17) and their families join together at Somerset Hills YMCA on Saturdays for two hours of recreation (from 4 – 6 p.m.). Volunteers lead the program, and carefully guide the children through an hour of gym time and a second hour in the pool. Siblings are welcome. This program is free to the community and runs from the fall to the spring.
  • We’ve Got Friends, a local nonprofit organization providing free social enrichment opportunities for teenagers with special needs to form meaningful friendships through common interests. See details here.
