LATAM - save the date! 🇧🇷
We invite you to join our online speed networking session.

We will have 2 sessions taking place on Thursday 18th August 2022 at 08:00 – 09:00 (UK Time) and 16:00 – 17:00 (UK Time)

This will be a 1 hour speed networking session, every 6 minutes you will be rotated to a different virtual breakout room for one-to-one networking. The other members you ‘meet’ will be done completely at random.

This session will allow you the opportunity to meet, connect and collaborate with your fellow IR members both new and long-standing to the group.
We have limited each session so allocation is on a first come first serve basis.

New Practice Area Announcement –
Crypto and Digital Asset Advisory
We are pleased to announce the launch of a new IR Global practice area: Crypto and Digital Asset Advisory.

This decision follows on from our recent successful breakout session ‘Crypto – the future of finance’ at the Zurich conference in June and from a number of member requests.

It has become apparent that there is a real need for IR members to work together, refer files and support clients in this growth industry. There are already a number of IR members working together but we want this to become clearer and easier for members to find each other and develop their own community within IR. We feel there are a lot of opportunities for IR members and we want to ensure we maximize these.

If you or your firm wish to apply for this new, exciting practice area: Crypto and Digital Asset Advisory in your jurisdiction, and would like to discuss adding this practice area to your existing IR membership, then please contact ross@irglobal.com to discuss further.

Please note – standard membership fees will apply.
In our first August Spotlight, Martín discusses his journey into the accountancy sector and how technology has aided the industry in recent years.

He also talks about the benefits of being a smaller firm and how much easier it can be to develop relationships with clients, meaning Zirkzee can provide advice and assistance as soon as they see emerging trends in the client’s financial performance.

Michael Einbinder is currently visiting Colorado, so he thought it would be a great idea to pay Geoff Blue a visit for a quick coffee!

LATAM Regional Meeting
We are delighted to announce that IR Global will be having a LATAM regional member get-together in Sao Paulo in December!
 
A number of our LATAM members (Neil Montgomery, Ricardo Dos Santos de Almeida Vieira, Daniel Felippe, and Daniel Rodriguez) have been collating a plan for the proposed meeting.
 
Date: 2nd - 3rd December 2022
Location: The Pullman Hotel, Sao Paulo
Attendees: Approx. 25-40 IR Global LATAM members

Friday 2nd December:
16:00 – 19:00: Attendees to meet up to watch the World Cup match between Cameroon vs Brazil
19:30 – 22:00: Evening dinner at the famous Fogo de Chão steakhouse
 
Saturday 3rd December: 
09:00 – 12:00: Professional Sessions: Presentations + Networking
12:00 – 14:00: Lunch including World Cup Match
14:00 – 15:30: Professional Sessions: Presentations + Networking
15:30 – 18:30: Watch World Cup Match
