Top 5 reasons to pick up after your dog
  1. You help preserve natural areas, where wildlife live.
  2. Residents and park/trail users will appreciate your good manners. You help ensure dogs will always be welcome visitors to the parks, along trails and in the open space areas in Highlands Ranch.
  3. You help eliminate environmental and public health problems that could result from the dozens of diseases carried by dog waste.
  4. No one likes to step in dog waste. Picking up after your pet helps ensure no one has the unpleasant or unsafe experience of stepping in poop.
  5. It's the law. You avoid costly fines by being a good dog owner and picking up after your pet.
