After nearly 40 years of darkness, the iconic Lansdowne Theater is ready to shine again. First opened in 1927 and celebrated as “the best example of suburban theatre construction around Philadelphia,” the theater closed in 1987 after a fire. Thanks to a multi-million-dollar renovation, its ornate décor and historic charm have been beautifully restored. Now open, the theater is ready to welcome audiences with live performances and memorable community experiences again.



Lansdowne may be just one square mile, but it’s a hidden gem for food lovers. Along charming Lansdowne Avenue, you’ll find cozy cafes, inviting restaurants, and a lively Saturday farmers market bursting with local flavor. Just next door, Clifton Heights adds even more delicious stops, from bakeries to casual eateries, perfect for savoring a full day of tastes in Delco.

The Delco 10 Miler needs more than runners — it needs volunteers! Volunteering is a great way to be part of the excitement. All volunteers will receive a Delco 10 Miler t-shirt, a reusable Delco “Wooder” bottle, and access to the post-race celebration with FREE food and drink.
