To the members of the Spinnaker Point Fitness Center:

The Governor of New Hampshire has given an opening date of June 15 for fitness centers with restrictions.  I realize that everyone has been patient and anxious to when they can get back to the gym. This decision is good news for everyone.

Before we can reopen Spinnaker work will need to be completed on the facility. During this time of closure we have been preparing the facility with cleaning, painting and spacing of equipment. We are replacing the roof, upgrading both the men’s and women’s locker rooms and must repair some pipes in the pool that are leaking. Although this will delay the reopening we think this is good news for all of our members and users of the facility. Work should begin in the next 2-3 weeks and completion will take an additional 4 weeks. When we have an exact timeline of completion we will send the information out.

For those members who are set up to pay monthly no charges have been taken since March and no further charges will occur until we reopen. The month we open will not be charged on your membership. Those that pay yearly may choose to have credit on their accounts or request a refund for those months of closure. Again, no charge will occur for the month we open.

As frustrating as this all has been we feel this would be the best opportunity to complete this needed maintenance. We would not be able to do this work while the facility is open and the summer months are typically less busy. We appreciate your continued patience and support and hope you will all return knowing that this work is necessary to keep Spinnaker thriving.
