The Broadlawns Foundation invites you join in the “Spirit of Giving” by participating in one or all of the following opportunities to make an impact on our community. 

NOW through Friday, December 16th

This holiday season, we’re asking employees to donate “Care Boxes” filled with care essentials. Each Care Box will be gifted to one of our patients in need. This small gesture can go a long way in making someone’s Holiday a little brighter!

How to make a Holiday Box:

1.) Find a sturdy box (or bag) Ex: shower caddy, shoebox, tote bag

2.) Fill it with care essentials: Please designate on your box if this is male, female, or gender neutral. No razors, alcohol-based mouthwash or hand sanitizer. (See ideas below)

3.) Drop your box off at one of the following locations between Thursday, December 1st and Friday, December 16th: BMC Social Services: 8am–4pm Location: 2nd floor of the Center Building – the hallway above HR & Payroll. Look for Karen Lowrey and Jessica Waldron. Offsite Locations & After Hours: Please drop off with your supervisor. 

Adopt-a-Client strives to deliver a holiday gift to every Broadlawns Transitional Housing resident and FOCUS High school student this holiday season. Their wishes are usually small and easy to fulfill. They include items such as pajamas, a sweater, a favorite movie or snack. Please consider adopting a Residential Housing Client and/or FOCUS Student and be a part of this wonderful way to give back to our community.

To adopt a client, please click on the "Adopt A Client" button below and fill out the registration form. You will then be assigned a client and provided a "wishlist" to help with your shopping. This is a great project for several employees or a department to collaborate on.

Please deliver your wrapped gifts to the Foundation/Marketing offices

(located in the same hallway as HR and payroll) by 4:30pm.

Please be sure your gifts are marked with the client's name.

Broadlawns Foundation Employee Campaign

The annual Broadlawns Employee Giving Campaign gives employees an opportunity to donate and make a difference in our community. This year, our employee giving campaign funds will benefit the enhancement of our Mammography and Imaging Clinic which will elevate the level of trust, comfort, and caliber of breast imaging care. The ongoing improvements to our medical campus benefit all of us who work here, our patients, and our community.

PAYROLL & PTO DEDUCTIONS

You can also participate in the 2023 Broadlawns Employee Giving Campaign through payroll or PTO deductions. Gifts will apply to calendar year 2023, unless you specify that you would like for your gift to be made in the current calendar year. You may also donate to United Way of Central Iowa or Variety – the Children’s Charity. Click on a link below to download a giving form.
