Congregational Potluck this Sunday

As a goodbye to Pastor Stoney, we are planning a potluck on this Sunday, June 1st following the 9:30 service.

Please bring a dish to share.

Goodbye: This is just a reminder that this will be Pastor Stoney’s last weekend with us! I will have a LARGE “thank you card” on the table for those who wish to sign or leave a message.-- Rosemary

Outreach

This past month our church has donated 89 pairs of shoes, 30 pairs of socks and made 107 personal hygiene bag for the West Valley Health Equity at 43rd Ave and Thomas in Phoenix. This church should be very proud of all they are doing. It is greatly appreciated by the West Valley Health Equity organization. 

Last Thursday, Wendy Sontag and the Senior Rock group made 55 sack lunches, which included 2 apples, chips, granola bar and a PJ&B sandwich. On Friday, Bob & Marilyn delivered those sacks to the West Valley Health Equity to hand out to the homeless. They also got to meet the staff and doctors and see their clinic and outreach program. 

A delivery of 88 lb. of food was delivered to the Superstition Food Pantry in Apache Junction on May 20.

Women's Thursday Afternoon Bible Study

The Thursday Women’s Bible Study is held on Thursdays at 1:00 PM in the church classroom.

New members are always welcome as together we grow in God’s GRACE and LOVE.

We pray for those church members that are struggling with many health issues, anxiety, etc.

Pray for: Rosemary, Lloyd, Dar, Diane, Sam, Becky, Bob, Karen, Brian, Ethel.

Lord, guide all who are struggling this week with health, loss and grief. Help us be angels that shine the Light of Christ upon them giving encouragement as they need. Amen
