Memorial Service for
Dick Schultz
Sunday - August 21st following the worship service.

In memory of Dick, we will be serving waffles during the reception time after worship. Memorial service will begin at 10:45am. Come and enjoy Dick’s favorite breakfast! 

On August 19th our youth and Pastor Tony will be joining the D-backs and hundreds of churches from across Arizona at Chase Field as we host Faith & Family Night on Friday. 

The game is against the St. Louis Cardinals at 6:40PM.
The D-backs are thrilled to host this special night of unity and fellowship, featuring postgame D-backs player testimonials and an exhilarating concert from Grammy award winning band Switchfoot!

A special thank you to one of our congregational members for making this special night possible for our youth!


Prayers –

We pray for those church members who are struggling with many health issues this week and especially with all Covid, colds and flu cases.
 
Please pray for quick healing for: Nicole Jesson, Diane Thompson, and Donna Miller. 
We pray for the health of: LaVonne Anderson, Tom Snodgrass, Eleanora Crise-Tomes, Ethel Robbins, Frieda Pyles, Stephanie Skansi. Darlene and Darren Holzipel, Moine Gates, Naomi Hensen, Mike Tucker, Diane Reinhardt, and Ruthie Piasecki

May the God of good health and happiness restore all who are struggling this week with the many situations people in our lives are struggling. Thank you for your presence and give us the joys of everyday life!

August 6th, 13th, and 20th 2022 
9am-12noon via Zoom

Our retreat leader is Rev. Stewart McDonald. A long-time Diakonia instructor, he is leader of the courses in the Tucson and Grand Canyon Synod Online cohorts: Images of the Church in the Bible and Beyond; and Daily Life of a Christian. He has led this Spiritual Gifts retreat a number of times. Diakonia students and graduates have found this process to be very enlightening and practical as part of their faith development journey.
