APPLE CRUMB PIES

Thank you for buying the Apple Crumb Pies on Sunday. Good news is they all sold out. Better news is there will be 10 more this Sunday in the freezer waiting for you and just in time for Thanksgiving.
If you would like to order one or two pies, send me a message at [email protected] and please write pies in the subject line. Put your donation in an envelope and mark it for Senior's Rock and leave in freezer or office.
Thank you from Wendy Sontag & Senior's Rock

Confirmands learn about the Day of Reformation and decide that after Martin Luther posted the 95 theses on the door of the church, he went home and carved a pumpkin! Lots of fun !

Senior Rock Fundraiser

Seniors Rock is having a Fundraiser for the Justa Center in Mesa by selling Professional 2021 Calendars being sold at $15.00 each. All proceeds go to the Justa Center.

These calendars picture the Lower Salt River Wild Horses. Our own SOH members, Wendy Sontag and Rich Biesterfeld, a professional photographer have made these calendars with many beautiful pictures of the horses. They are available for purchase following Sunday services or you can call the church office to order a calendar.

With COVID-19 and wanting to remain safe, I can understand why members are not comfortable about attending in person worship services. I can also understand that there are those who have missed receiving Holy Communiond so therefore, I am extending this invitation.

If you are an at risk member who would like to have the Pastor bring Holy Communion to your home, please call the church office ( 480-396-8300) and request / schedule a home communion visit. Pastor Tony will bring communion wearing a mask, medical gloves, and practicing social distancing. If it is a nice day, perhaps we can be outside.

The home communion visits will be scheduled for late mornings or in the afternoon.

This is an organization Spirit of Hope wants to become partners within the near future.
Genesis Project is a coalition of churches in the Apache Junction area banded together for the common purpose of aiding the less fortunate.

Genesis Project is a faith-based 501c3 organization seeking to feed the hungry and the homeless by facilitating hot meals, showers, clothing, and medical services.

Right now the need for people that are in need is water. Water is something we can help with today. We will be collecting cases of bottled water here at Spirit of Hope and at the end of the month we will load up all the cases and bring it to Genesis to be distributed as needed. Please help as you are able and drop off a few cases at the church for this cause.

Thank You for your volunteerism!
