Happy Feast Day!
On February 28, we celebrate the feast day of Blessed Daniel Brottier, C.S.Sp. who was a missionary, fearless WWI chaplain, and inspirational leader of an orphanage in France, Orphans Apprentices of Auteuil.

Fr. Brottier was dedicated to sharing the Spiritan story, both in his work raising funds for the African Memorial Cathedral in Dakar, Senegal and in his work in Auteuil. In doing so, he was able to gather supporters and do amazing work in service of those on the margins.

The Annual Texas Mission Council (TMC) Conference was held from February 21-23 in San Antonio. The speakers included Bishop Gary W. Janak of the Archdiocese of San Antonio, Fr. Juan Molina, Sr. Jane Meyer, O.P., and Timothy P. Williams.

The Texas Mission Council, which includes Houston Lay Spiritans and Spiritan Friends, exists to promote and support missionary activities both at home and abroad through the collaborative efforts of Diocesan Mission Directors, Texas mission organizations, and individuals of all faiths interested in mission.
