Welcome to Sam Schwartz

Nicholas (Nick) Bonsignore has joined the team as a Senior Engineer based in the New York office.

Prior to joining Sam Schwartz, Nick worked at VHB and SIMCO as a Civil Designer and Traffic Engineer, respectively. In his previous role, Nick was responsible for supporting Port Authority Traffic Engineering as task lead for roadway signing and pedestrian wayfinding within JFK Redevelopment. He brings over 8 years of direct experience supporting PA Traffic Engineering and has been involved in managing teams with efforts such as supporting JFK Traffic operations, developing conceptual and contract drawings for traffic improvement projects, reviewing contractor submissions and proposals, and coordinating between inter-agency divisions, developers, and other stakeholders.

Nick holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a master’s degree in Transportation Planning and Engineering from the NYU Tandon School of Engineering in Brooklyn. His interests include basketball, jogging, billiards, book/television binges, flea markets, watching his house plants come back to life, and spending time with his eight-year-old nephew.
