Sponsor a Family For Christmas

Dear Friends:

The NY Race Track Chaplaincy is once again offering the opportunity to our supporters to participate in our Sponsor-A-Family Program. The program provides food and gifts to the neediest of our backstretch families during the Christmas season. Sponsors provide brand new winter clothing for the children, a new toy for each child, and a grocery store gift card for the family's Christmas dinner (additional gifts are welcome, such as clothing for the parents).

Family Sponsorships can be shared! Groups are encouraged to sponsor large families together.

Our goal is to provide sponsorships for every one of our families in need. Please, spread the word among your friends and help us give our families a Merry and Blessed Christmas this year.

HOW IT WORKS:

Click HERE to apply for the family to sponsor.
We will write back with the details of your family, including the total number of family members, gender of each child, ages and sizes.
Go Shopping! Purchase gifts for each child or members of the family as well as a grocery store gift card for their holiday meal.
Please wrap your gifts and clearly mark each gift according to each family member.
Place all Items into a large box or bag that is clearly marked with the family last name and assigned number. If there are large items that cannot fit into the family box (bike, comforter, etc) clearly mark the item with a tag. This ensures all of your gifts are delivered to your assigned family.
The deadline for gift drop-off is December 2nd for Saratoga families and December 11th for Belmont families. Sponsors will be informed of drop-off locations.
