Federal Updates
The 50 th National Science Foundation Grants Conference   will take place on November 8-9, 2018.  NSF wi ll live stream the plenary sessions of the conference. There is no cost or limit for participants to view the live stream. Click the link below to register for the event and learn about the agenda and speakers.

UT Updates
Fringe Mitigation Plan On September 1st, the University moved to a pooled fringe rate that may impact existing awards or previously submitted proposals. The University will cover fringe expenses above budget on grants submitted prior to August 10, 2018 using a University mitigation account. This change to pooled fringe will also impact budget revision requests (VTCs). NIH Loan Repayment Program

Applications for NIH’s 2019 Loan Repayment Program are due by November 15, 2018 (5:00 PM). Also due on Nov. 15th is post-submission certification by OSP; therefore, the PI's online application and the Department Chairman’s certification letter are both due in OSP by Nov. 13th (5:00 PM) so that OSP can meet the Nov. 15th deadline.

Adjusted Effort Reporting Cycle for 3/1/18 - 8/31/18. The reporting window for this period will be 9/10/18-10/18/18, which is shortened from 45 to 40 days due to the transition to Workday.

Effort Reporting Due Thursday, Oct. 18.
