Visibility Running Tips
1. Be Visible Wear bright colors and reflective gear during low-light hours. We suggest checking out our Nightlife high-visibility apparel.
2. Run Against Traffic. If you're running next to a road, this helps cars to see you as they approach.
3. Obey All Traffic Laws. Clearly signal to cars where you are going.
4. Open Your Eyes Wait, watch and listen for cars before crossing intersections.
5. Keep Your I.D. on you and don't forget to carry your cell phone at all times.
6. Stay on well lit paths and while you're at it, run with a friend or in a group.

Nathan hand-held light at Fleet Feet

This running-specific flashlight features an integrated 24-degree downward projection angle to focus light on the path ahead of you during the run - no need to twist your wrist. A rear-facing red LED gives you visibility from the back. Comes equipped with an adjustable hand strap that allows for an effortless carry in either hand. Also recharges through a USB cord through your computer.

In preparation for our FITNATIC WEEKEND (Nov. 28-30), we're celebrating the Fitnatics and the people who love them on our social media. Here is how this contest works: Every Friday we will post a topic, you respond (pictures encouraged) to our comment, use the hashtag #ILoveAFitnatic and tag friends and family who can relate. We'll select one winner for each topic by Monday at noon. We will also have an additional contest every Tuesday on #ILoveAFitnatic topics. Check it out.

Fleet Feet's Bra Whisperer is ready

to help with bra fits

No matter what your activity or breast size, a sports bra has become an integral and important piece of apparel. Sports bras are just as important as a properly fit pair of shoes. Fleet Feet Sports in Huntsville offers a selection of high impact sports bras from Moving Comfort, Enell and Nike. The bras we carry are breathable, comfortable, moisture wicking and offer the support that you need. Not all sports bras are created equal, and believe it or not 8 out of 10 women are wearing the wrong size bra. Not sure if you are wearing the right bra size? Your bra size can fluctuate throughout the years. We recommend being fit annually to make sure you are always in the proper amount of support. Our bra fit process will help you determine which bra and size is right for you. If you would like to set up a bra appointment prior to your visit to guarantee immediate assistance on your visit, please email our "Bra Whisperer," Shirley Hardy at
