Pictured on the top left: Redpointe maples are rising stars on the shade tree horizon. They are a heat resistant, vigorous growing, colorful choice for sustainable landscapes. They are widely known as pest and disease resistant trees that are easily maintained. Well-behaved, balanced growth eliminates the need for a lot of pruning and shaping to develop a symmetrical canopy.
The 'Sunset' maple series boasts fabulous fall color, a beautiful branching habit and an adaptability to a wide range of soils. They can be grown in full sun but prefer dappled morning or afternoon shade. A standout variety (pictured top & bottom right) 'Crimson Sunset' is highly prized for showy crimson-purple leaves and increased heat tolerance thriving where other purple-leaved plants suffer. 'Pacific Sunet' (pictured bottom left) has warm, golden-orange fall color and a more rotund growth habit.
It's a great time to plant trees, especially ones with beautiful fall color you can enjoy for weeks to come.
