Although COVID-19 has tested us and the way we do business, we feel the best way to move forward is to see these challenges as opportunities and to focus our attention on what matters most. As the pandemic changed the education landscape, our small, but mighty team quickly realized the opportunity to convert all of our education programs to virtual delivery to schools across our nation. We need your help to broaden our impact.
We wouldn’t be able to continue providing these education programs without the generosity of our sponsors, donors and National Champions – we are grateful to each one of them for their ongoing support. The aim of our education programs is to inspire youth by Hall of Famers sharing their stories and personal experiences to increase students’ awareness and appreciation of overcoming significant obstacles when setting and achieving attainable goals. We want to equip youth with critical life skills, lessons and tools for success by introducing them to Canada’s Sport + Spirit Champions™ and creating a moment where students discover for themselves that sport teaches more than sport.
With deep appreciation,
Cheryl Bernard

#MyCanadianMoment
If there was ever a need for a country to come together, the time is now. From June to August 2020, 15 Hall of Famers, 1 Class of 2020/21 Inductee and 33 other notable Canadian personalities shared their favourite Canadian sporting moments, stories that make them proud to be Canadian. There were over 260K views, and the campaign reached over 1 million Canadians overall. All Canadians were encouraged to share their stories using #MyCanadianMoment. We know these videos will inspire, entertain and educate during this difficult time, Building Canada through Sport!

#WeWillDoBetter
Canada's Sports Hall of Fame is committed to "doing better" to support the current anti-racism awareness movement. As historic storytellers, we have an obligation to use our platform to amplify our Hall of Famers' stories. In partnership with TSN, we have created eight vignettes, short curated documentaries featuring Black Hall of Famers. The first vignette launched on November 25. Stay tuned for more to come!
