| As part of the SLA's continuing effort to bring more activities and networking opportunities to its members, we are pleased to invite you to the following Chicago, IL Outreach hosted in conjunction with Foley & Lardner LLP, the American Bar Association Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section, the Sports Law Committee of the Chicago Bar Association and the Sports Lawyers Association for a special panel discussion: Hot Topics in Sports Law Sports industry professionals and leading sports law experts engage in a wide-ranging discussion of current hot topics in sports law. The 90-minute panel, moderated by ESPN's Lester Munson, will offer an in-depth discussion of many of the leading sports law topics of the day. Topics covered will include the regulation of on-and-off-field conduct, player discipline, the Washington Redskins trademark controversy, the changing legal environment of college athletics, the emergence of daily fantasy sports, and the legalization of sports gambling. There will be a 30-minute networking reception at the conclusion of the panel, followed by an offsite gathering at a local area restaurant.
