Stanford - 9-26-16 - Kenny Karst
Down 13-9 to the UCLA Bruins with only 1:58 remaining in the game, Stanford Cardinal senior quarterback Ryan Burns (17) drove the Cardinal 70 yards in 10 plays, culminating in an eight-yard touchdown pass to sophomore wide receiver JJ Arcega-Whiteside (19) in the corner of the end zone to win the game. Stanford, who could muster only three field goals against the Bruins for all but the last two minutes, would pick up a UCLA fumble and score another touchdown as time expired for a 22-13 come-from-behind win at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena on Saturday, September 24. © 2016 Kenny Karst Photography.

Giants - 9-26-16 - Kenny Karst
San Francisco Giants veteran catcher Buster Posey, seen here during a home game earlier in the year, singled in the top of the third inning against the San Diego Padres at Petco Park on Sunday, September 25, driving in the Giants' second and third runs of the game. But it wasn't enough, as the Padres would come from behind and win, 4-3.  With the Los Angeles Dodgers winning at home against the Colorado Rockies, the Giants' hopes for a National League West title would slip away, leaving only a Wild Card spot as a possible entry into the National League playoffs. The New York Mets are likely to win one of those spots, and the Giants will attempt to fend off the St. Louis Cardinals this week for the other.
