Green Bay Packers, started his first game this season for the 49ers on the road against the
Buffalo Bills at New Era Field in Orchard Park, New York on Sunday, October 16 and was 13 of 29 passing for 187 yards and a touchdown. But the Niners kept settling for Phil Dawson field goals, and lost their fifth-straight game, 45-16. Head coach Chip Kelly indicated no decision has yet been made on whether Kaepernick or Blaine Gabbert will start at quarterback next Sunday, October 23 at 1:05 p.m. when the 49ers host the
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at
Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara. The game will air on
FOX.

Sports Prep Star - Leki Nunn
Serra High School - Football - Senior
The Padres' dual-threat quarterback was at his best in leading host Serra to a thrilling 41-40 overtime upset of previously unbeaten St. Francis-Mountain View on October 9. It was Nunn's two-point conversion pass to Shane Villaroman that provided the final score on Serra's first OT possession. That play followed the quarterback's second rushing touchdown of the game, a five-yard scramble that cut St. Francis' lead to 40-39. Nunn accounted for six total touchdowns in the game. He threw for 231 yards and four scores, and rushed 20 times for 139 yards and two touchdowns. Photo credit: Norbert von der Groeben, SportStars Media. Courtesy SportStars Magazine.

Eric Barnhart -- Raiders Fan
The 'thrill of winning and the agony of defeat' is why I have been a Raiders fan for over 50 years. It has been an edge of your seat adventure!
When it was announced they were returning home to Oakland I purchased my PSL within the first five minutes they became available. My son was three years old at the time and I wanted to share my passion with him.
Wow, what a ride it has been for the past 21 years. Front Row in The Black Hole!!!!! We have shared this opportunity with many people and the looks on their faces is priceless.
My earliest memories of football came from watching Bay Area sports with my grandfather. He was an avid Raiders fan. I have worn something black for almost 40 years now to support the team and my love of the team has not wavered.
I have been in the moving business for the past 40 years. I have had the opportunity to relocate many players around the country. My greatest move was the Baltimore Colts. I was part of the Mayflower convoy that moved the team to Indy in the middle of the night.
My favorite memory of the Raiders was the 2006 induction of John Madden into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. I had a jersey made that said Madden 06. It was pretty popular in Canton. So popular that I was backstage at the stadium with all the greats Madden flew in; Lamonica, Sistrunk, Al, .. etc. They had a picture of us in the museum as the most notorious fans of football. Get goose bumps of that weekend.
I worked for the Madden family when they lived in Blackhawk years ago. Great people. In Oakland the following year he was honored and his whole family wore Madden 06 jerseys that day.
My love stems from being the underdog, the team everyone loves to hate...etc.
I would be terribly disappointed if they move. The Black Hole in Oakland has been like a family. I have watched generations of kids grow up to have the same passion. I love to share my experience with friends and have made many life-long friends.
The memories that we have of the ups-and-downs of our team will last forever.
I have missed only one game, in 1999, due to lung surgery. I am determined to not miss another. This season is starting to bring back the Raiders swagger and I couldn't be prouder to represent the Nation!
Eric Barnhart is among a number of Oakland Raiders fans who add excitement and delight to attending Raiders games. Photo by Ed Jay.
