Respect in Sport administrator training workshops
Sask Sport is hosting a pair of virtual Respect in Sport training workshops for new administrators as well as those who feel they need a refresher. The workshops are scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 1 at 10 a.m. or Wednesday, Sept. 2 at 2 p.m. and will last approximately 30 minutes.

To help celebrate National Coaches Week, the Coaches Association of Saskatchewan is offering free National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Courses from Sept. 19-27.

The courses are designed for all levels of coaching.
Petro-Canada Coaching Excellence Awards
August 31 is the deadline to nominate a coach for the Petro-Canada Coaching Excellence Awards.

These prestigious awards recognize coaches whose athletes have excelled at world championships, Olympic and Paralympic Games and at the Special Olympics World Games. The Coaching Association of Canada and Petro-Canada honour these recipients before their peers at the annually.
Gender equity webinar presented by Canadian Women & Sport
On Sept. 30, join experts on gender equity and change management from Canadian Women & Sport and Brock University as they walk you through Same Game: an evidence-based, step-by-step online toolkit designed to help sport organizations bring their gender-equity vision to life.
In this three-part virtual workshop presented by Sask Sport, parents and caregivers will be introduced to resources and learn skills to help girls and young women manage difficult and demanding sport experiences.

The workshop is interactive and will include experiential learning and opportunities for participation and group discussion.

The three sessions are scheduled for 7 p.m. on Sept. 15 & 29 and Oct. 13, and each session is expected to last 30-45 minutes.
