Graphic for National Indigenous History Month

Across Canada, June is recognized as National Indigenous History Month.

During this month, Sask Sport will be recognizing the rich sport history and athletic opportunities of Indigenous Peoples across the province.

Follow Sask Sport social media every Wednesday in June — including National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21 — for articles, resources, and information to celebrate Indigenous History Month through the eyes of sport.

Sask Sport is committed to encouraging and supporting sport environments that are fun, safe, healthy, diverse and inclusive.

Each Friday in June — which is proclaimed annually as Gender and Sexual Diversity Pride Month in Saskatchewan — we will share resources, information and stories to celebrate Pride Month through the eyes of sport.
