Sport Award nominations close Sunday
Nominations for the 2020 Saskatchewan Sport Awards close on Sunday, Dec. 20, at midnight.

All Sask Sport active members (Provincial Sport Organizations) and affiliate members (Districts) can nominate one volunteer and one coach for their outstanding achievements, dedication and contributions to Saskatchewan amateur sport. A total of six volunteers and four coaches will be virtually recognized in this 2020 version of the awards.

Dream Brokers help participants stay active
Normally, Dream Brokers work within schools to consult with students and caregivers and connect kids to after-school sport, culture and recreation programs. That all changed when COVID-19 restrictions closed schools and brought programs to a standstill in March.

Since then, the Dream Brokers program has evolved to overcome the barriers presented by the pandemic and help participants have fun and stay active.
Sask Sport is partnering with Canadian Women & Sport and Canadian Sport Centre Saskatchewan to offer free virtual Women & Leadership workshops covering eight unique topics from January to March 2021.

The workshops run 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. every Tuesday starting Jan. 12.
Give the Gift of Sport with KidSport
Sport looks different right now as result of COVID-19. When it resumes, KidSport Saskatchewan will be there to help eliminate the financial barriers that prevent children from getting involved.
