Re-Open Saskatchewan Training Subsidy (RSTS)
The Government of Saskatchewan has launched the Re-Open Saskatchewan Training Subsidy (RSTS) program to provide eligible employers with financial support in the form of a 100-per-cent reimbursement to train employees.

This funding can help employers adjust to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and safely align with business activities with the re-opening of Saskatchewan's economy.

Saskatchewan Polytechnic offers a variety of short-term training courses that may be of interest to amateur sport groups. These courses meet the RSTS criteria:
  • Saskatchewan-based third party not affiliated with employer.
  • Courses a minimum of eight hours in length per trainee, by the same training provider and completed within four months.
  • Courses result in a credential (record of completion, certificate, grade, etc.)
The deadline to apply for the subsidy is July 31, 2020.

Another Saskatchewan millionaire!
Congratulations to Eyebrow's Marion Bueckert, who won $1 million on a Zing Player's Choice Mega Pack.

Bueckert purchased her ticket in around Christmas, but tossed it unscratched into a drawer and didn't discover it again until May, when she scratched and uncovered her million-dollar prize.
All lottery tickets purchased in Saskatchewan support over 12,000 sport, culture and recreation groups in communities across the province.
