Six volunteers, four coaches honoured with Saskatchewan Sport Awards
Sask Sport is proud to announce 10 recipients of 2020 Saskatchewan Sport Awards.

Six long-serving volunteers and four decorated and dedicated coaches were honoured in the group.

From pumpkin carving contests to dance challenges and indoor scavenger hunts, Northern Community & School Recreation Coordinator Robynn Dorion has found multiple ways to keep the community of Stanley Mission connected during the pandemic.

Coaches Association of Saskatchewan updates
Saskatchewan Coaching Academy Online
The Saskatchewan Coaching Academy offers coaches the opportunity to complete all nine National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Competition-Development multi-sport modules in three intensive weekend blocks: April 16-18, May 14-16 and June 18-20.
May NCCP workshops now available
Coaches looking to expand their coaching knowledge and earn Professional Development points are encouraged to sign up for the NCCP multi-sport workshops being offered online in April and May.
Applications open for Black Female Coach Mentorship Program
The Black Female Coach Mentorship Program — a joint initiative between the Black Canadian Coaches Association and the Coaching Association of Canada — is accepting mentor and mentee applications for Year 2.

Applications are due April 18.
Sask Sport is partnering with Canadian Women & Sport and Saskatchewan's seven sport, culture and recreation districts to offer free virtual Women & Leadership workshops.

The workshops, which cover nine unique topics, will run every Tuesday at 1:15 p.m. (SK time) until May 25.

All workshops qualify for coaching Professional Development points.

Sask Sport and Sask Lotteries offices closed for Easter long weekend
The Sask Sport and Sask Lotteries offices in Saskatoon and Regina will be closed on Good Friday (April 2) as well as Easter Monday (April 5). Offices will reopen on Tuesday, April 6.
