Attend the "No Ref-No Game" webinar on Thursday, Oct. 22, at 11 a.m. (Sask. time) for tools and resources about reframing long-term officials development.
Applications for Jays Care Field of Dreams due Oct. 30
Field of Dreams is the Jays Care's program that provides funding to design, refurbish and build safe spaces for children and youth to play baseball, develop life skills and learn from positive role models.

The grant is not limited to baseball diamonds; projects in gyms, recreation centres and other athletic facilities are also eligible to apply.

Applications are due by 3 p.m. (Sask. time) on Oct. 30.
Canadian Women & Sport 2021 WISE Fund now open for applications
Canadian Women & Sport is looking to advance gender equity in sport by supporting 30 organizations with a grant of $2,500 through the WISE Fund.

Sport organizations, community organizations, university/college sport programs, schools and non-profit organizations are eligible to apply.

Applications close Monday, Nov. 9.
Don Bailey Lecture Series
Presented by the College of Kinesiology at the University of Saskatchewan, the Don Bailey Lecture Series is designed to honour and commemorate the work of Dr. Don Bailey, an internationally acclaimed visionary who worked at the cutting edge of science and technology in the area of health sciences.

The series will feature engaging and innovative guest lecturers from across the globe presenting a broad range of kinesiology-related topics that advance health and wellness and promote the importance of maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle.

The series will be provided on a virtual platform for free.

The first session, Long-term Athlete Development - from Boardroom to Ballfield, from Position Papers to the Playground, by guest lecturer Joe Eisenmann (PhD) is on Thursday, Nov. 5 at 1:30 p.m.
RBC Training Ground returns in a virtual format
RBC Training Ground is back and searching for the next Olympian by giving every Canadian athlete between the ages of 14 to 25 the chance to be scouted by Team Canada from home.

Following the instructions on the RBC Training Ground website, athletes can now record themselves completing each of the three tests designed to evaluate their speed, power and endurance. National Sport Organizations will then use those test to identify skills that translate to strong potential in their respective sports.

The deadline to submit a videos is Dec. 1.
