Paralympic Sport Development Fund applications deadline April 7
The Canadian Paralympic Committee has opened applications for the 2022-23 Paralympic Sport Development fund to support sport organizations developing the next generation of athletes.

The Paralympic Sport Development Fund provides grants for local sport organizations, clubs and programs that help athletes along their development pathway. The grants can be used for items such as recruitment initiatives, coaching, equipment, competition and more. Funds can be used to support the creation of a new program, or the expansion of an existing successful initiative.

Grants will be available in amounts between $5,000 to $15,000, as well as a new pocket of funds for multi-organization collaborative projects up to $20,000.

Also new for 2022-23 is a call for programs with a focus on women and girls in Para sport, promoting and supporting their development as athletes and coaches. Funds would support initiatives designed to recruit, engage, support, and retain women and girls with a disability participating in sport.

The deadline to submit applications is April 7.
