Celebrate National Coaches Week
From Sept. 21 - 29 individuals and organizations across the country will participate in National Coaches Week.

“This week we recognize the 27,000 trained coaches across our province and say #ThanksCoach!” said Kenric Exner, volunteer Sask Sport Board Chair.

“Your generous leadership and commitment to sport supports over 320,000 registered participants on various local teams, clubs and leagues, and works towards building a safe and vibrant sport community.”

You can support National Coaches Week by using the hashtags #ThanksCoach or #CoachesWeek on social media, and by using the various resources and tools found on the Coaches Association of Saskatchewan website.
Fast and Female Champ Chat
A full house of youth athletes attended the recent Fast and Female Champ Chat in Saskatoon. The fun-filled event was designed to encourage girls to participate in sports and lead healthy lifestyles.

During the day, attendees participated in a variety of events and interacted with female athlete role models, including four-time Olympian Mercedes Nicoll.

More information about the Fast and Female organization and its work is available below.
