Time Saving Tips: Protocols and Duplicate Treatments

Each month we will feature time-saving tips and tricks. If you have a tip you think other readers would find helpful, shoot us an email

Protocols : There are certain injuries that you see frequently that will require the exact same treatment. For example, sprained ankles. Every time you see a sprained ankle you are likely to have the athlete rest the ankle, use ice and compression, and elevate the injured leg. Instead of manually entering this exact same treatment for every occurrence, you can create a protocol. This is a quick and easy way to standardize treatment and get information into SportsWare. Duplicates: Imagine you have an athlete who comes in three or four times a week for the same treatment. Instead of creating the treatment every time from scratch, you can set up the treatment once and then duplicate it for future visits. This allows you to quickly select the treatment without having to enter in the same information for every visit. VIDEO TUTORIAL
