This sustained decline, which began during the COVID-19 pandemic, encompasses a broad range of substances, including alcohol, nicotine, cannabis, and other illicit drugs. Experts attribute this trend to factors such as reduced peer pressure during lockdowns, increased health consciousness among teens, and a cultural shift towards wellness. The survey's findings highlight the importance of understanding and supporting the behaviors that contribute to these positive outcomes.
