Dear Protect the Ballot Community,

Thank you for your continued engagement in the Protect the Ballot training series. Please join us for a bonus Spotlight Session: Focus on Georgia, delving into the state’s unique 2026 election risks with a hotly contested Senate seat in play. We'll explain the Trump administration’s under-the-radar actions happening in Georgia, and the protections that are urgently needed.

Join us on Wednesday, January 14, at 7:00 pm ET to learn about Georgia elections’ elevated risk of disruption and subversion. While it is not a formal part of the Protect the Ballot training series, it is designed to address unfolding developments in Georgia that raise serious concerns about election reliability and the ability to defend nationally important outcomes in the 2026 election cycle. Register here.

Georgia’s statewide elections are among the most targeted and potentially contentious in the country. In the meeting, we will explain:

• Unverifiable Results- The legally non-compliant use of an untrustworthy, highly vulnerable voting system, using software that has been stolen by Trump allies, and widely distributed.

• Potential for Voter Intimidation and Coercion- The significant ballot secrecy failure in Georgia and current DOJ litigation seeking voting records and how they are linked, escalates the risk to voters related to Georgia’s traceable ballots.

Trump DOJ’s Disruptive Efforts- DOJ’s recent litigation efforts in Georgia to obtain Fulton County private voter-roll data and 2020 election ballots will likely expose discrepancies, and result in demands for chaotic last minute voting system changes or intrusive federal election “oversight” in 2026.

Risk of County Election Board Takeover-- Georgia’s 2021 election law (SB202) allowing the partisan State Election Board to rapidly replace entire bi-partisan county election boards for even minor violations with a single appointed partisan official.

Georgia’s Inaction—Together, these factors, unaddressed by state or local officials, create a perfect storm for election upheaval, loss of public trust, and built-in opportunities for post-election challenges for flawed and illegal vote counting processes in Georgia’s 2026 statewide races.

Solutions are available, and quite feasible, but require citizen activism.  You can help!
