Starting as a network support technician, I worked diligently to build my skills and knowledge, ultimately being promoted to LAN Manager and System Specialist IV. In these roles, I find great fulfillment in addressing the technological challenges my colleagues encounter, enabling them to focus on their essential tasks. Being a reliable support for my team brings me a sense of joy and satisfaction.
In 2005, Bassel Choucair's strategic vision along with the User Experience Support staff’s dedication to collaboration streamlined our processes, enhanced our efficiency, and fostered a cohesive approach that significantly improved our service delivery.
I have also prioritized ongoing learning and professional development, attending workshops, and obtaining certifications to stay current with industry advancements. Collaborating with various departments has provided me with valuable insights into how technology can enhance overall outcomes. I take pride in being a resource for troubleshooting and in proactively developing solutions that anticipate future needs. Each interaction reinforces the importance of teamwork and effective communication, making my experience here highly rewarding.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with incredibly talented colleagues who inspire me to push my boundaries and strive for excellence. The chance to make a meaningful impact in our field motivates me daily, and I am passionate about contributing to our mission of improving health through education and research.
One of my proudest accomplishments has been leading the digital pathology initiative under the leadership of Nghia D. Nguyen, MD, MS, where we implemented advanced imaging technologies to enhance diagnostic accuracy and efficiency. This project not only improved our workflow but also facilitated better collaboration among healthcare providers, ultimately benefiting patient care. Additionally, mentoring newer team members in this area and helping them navigate the complexities of digital tools has brought me immense satisfaction. Knowing that I can support their growth while contributing to a culture of innovation is something I deeply value. Overall, I take pride in being part of an organization that prioritizes advancements in technology to improve health outcomes for our community.
When you are not at work, how do you spend your time?
Outside of work, I truly value the time I spend with my wife, Diaa, and our four children, Omar, Bayan, Abdul, and Radiya. We love exploring nature on family walks, discovering new coffee shops, and traveling to new places together. I also enjoy participating in local events, which helps me connect with the wider community.
