MESSAGE FROM THE

MAYOR

Hello neighbors,

On February 19, I’ll have the opportunity to deliver Blue Springs’ annual State of the City address, an important moment to reflect on where we’ve been, where we are and where we’re headed together.

Over the past year, our community has continued to move forward with purpose. From major infrastructure investments and neighborhood improvements to downtown revitalization and long-term planning efforts, Blue Springs is building momentum. None of this progress happens by chance. It’s the result of thoughtful leadership, dedicated city staff and residents who care deeply about the future of our community.

This year’s State of the City will highlight the accomplishments we’re most proud of, the challenges we’ve faced head-on and the priorities guiding our work in the year ahead. I’ll share updates on key projects already underway, outline upcoming initiatives and talk about how we’re positioning Blue Springs for continued growth and opportunity.

Most importantly, the address is about you—the people who make Blue Springs a great place to live, work and raise a family. Your engagement, ideas and trust allow us to keep moving forward together.

I look forward to initiating conversation about what’s next for Blue Springs and celebrate the progress we’ve made as one community.

Chris Lievsay

Mayor, Blue Springs, Mo.
