Behind the Scenes with Married Poll Workers from Different Parties

Kristina and Stephen Reisinger are a married couple who serve as poll workers in Chester County. He’s a construction company owner and a registered Republican. She’s a schoolteacher and registered Democrat. They don’t always agree on everything, especially politics, but they do agree on the importance of democracy. Committee of Seventy, a nonpartisan civic leadership organization, advocates for policies that protect your vote and the integrity of the election process. They offer a variety of programs to inform and engage voters so they can confidently cast their ballot in every primary and general election.
