LUM Legacy Partners - Bob & Diane Shockey

Bob & Diane Shockey of West Lafayette are grateful to be Legacy Partners of Lafayette Urban Ministry, aligning their resources with God’s priorities by serving their neighbors in need.


Bob & Diane met as undergraduates at Case Western Reserve University, where they both earned bachelor’s degrees. Bob went on to earn an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and serves as Senior Business Manager at Smurfit WestRock. He is deeply involved with LUM, currently serving as president of the LUM Board of Directors and as a member of the Executive Council and Development Committee. Diane, a retired teacher, supports LUM as an advocate with the Financial Assistance Program while helping care for their three local grandsons.

DAY-OF VOLUNTEERS – Saturday, December 13: Host a family, assist with shopping, organize donations, and deliver surplus toys. Great for groups. 100+ volunteers needed.


DONATION CENTERDec. 1 - 5, 1-5 p.m. — Receive & sort toy donations at the LUM Office. Dec. 8-11, 1-5 p. m. — Supervise host site shopping, bag toys, distribute packets, and organize toys at Oakland Academy.
