*All cars and racers are to participate in a pre-race car inspection and weigh-in. Plan for 2-4 hours.

Free NH Summer Leadership Program!

FFI is excited to offer Credit-Bearing Programs where New Hampshire students can participate in a leadership-based program while earning high school credits!


This innovative program allows for the delivery of content to continue outside of the classroom through real-world, hands-on learning experiences as a part of the NH DOE Learn Everywhere Initiative.


*Weeklong, residential leadership program


*Hands-on, experiential, and individualized learning


*100% scholarship given to each student (no cost, including room and board!)


*Each program earns up to 2.0 credits


*Credits earned transfer to public schools in NH

Our approach emphasizes healthy living, with outdoor activities, service learning, a plant-based diet, as well as a tech-free environment. We welcome applications from 14–18-year-old students attending NH based schools or homeschooled with a NH based address.

Go for Launch: Christa McAuliffe State House Memorial Commission Arts Competition

The Christa McAuliffe State House Memorial Commission is pleased to announce the creation of a student arts-based competition to correspond with the creation, installation, and unveiling of the new Christa McAuliffe Memorial in 2024. Submissions for the arts-based competition will consist of one of the following forms: visual art medium (paint, drawing, digital, etc.); poetry; or essay* (consisting of no more than 1000 words).


The competition will be divided into three grade levels: Kindergarten – Fourth Grade; Fifth Grade - Eighth Grade; and High School (9-12). The top three winners in each grade level will be selected in advance of the memorial's unveiling in 2024 and will be recognized in the ceremonies.


Winners within each grade level will be chosen among all art forms and mediums submitted.

"This is another exciting opportunity for Granite State students to pay tribute to Christa McAuliffe through artwork," said Governor Chris Sununu. "Christa's legacy continues to inspire children in New Hampshire and beyond!"

All submissions must be delivered by June 1, 2024.

Quarterly STEM Facilitation Micro-Credential Information Sessions

Are you looking to build your STEM skills and credentials? You’re in luck! The National AfterSchool Association is partnering with ACRES to host workshops on micro-credential digital badges for OST professionals. ACRES’ amazing coaches provide free, 1-hour, live, interactive sessions.


The competency-based STEM Facilitation Micro-Credentials offered through the NAA Professional Credentialing System align with NAA’s Core Knowledge Skills and Competencies and PEAR’s Dimensions of Success (DoS) Framework. OST staff who earn these micro-credentials are recognized for using practices that result in quality STEM programs that produce positive youth outcomes.
