Greening Up The Lab:
Sustainable Research Practices
There are many opportunities for researchers to practice an ethos of sustainability in the laboratory. The most impactful of these center around the themes of conservation, waste reduction and good resource management.

Crossword Challenge
See how well you know the ins-and-outs of campus sustainability. If you get a perfect score on this edition's crossword (honor system, no peeking!), tweet or DM us with the hashtag #EHSCrossword and we'll give you a shout-out!

Two New Safety Specialists Join EHS
Those who work frequently with EHS may have spied some fresh faces of late as safety specialists Brittany Armstrong and Sean Farrell recently joined the team.

Out & About: Greenspace Table, Health Fair
While not exactly a spring tour, EHS will be making appearances around campus in the next couple of months. We’d like to think we rock, so let’s just call them gigs, shall we?
Greenspace

In honor of Earth Month, the Princeton Office of Sustainability is hosting a GreenSpace Table at Frist Campus Center during the month of April. The table, located by an exhibit highlighting Campus as a Lab research projects, offers a chance for different campus groups to highlight their own environmental initiatives.

Come visit EHS at the 100 Level of Frist on April 24 and 26 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. to hear about ways to “green up” the laboratory, with tips and strategies for making research at Princeton more sustainable.

Health Fair

The annual Health and Wellness Fair, sponsored by the Office of Human Resources, takes place May 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Dillon Gym. EHS will have a table offering fun activities and prizes around the theme of campus health and safety.

Hope to see you there!
