December 6, 2018
As the year comes to an end, and the holidays approach, take time to remember families who are experiencing an unforeseen crisis that has greatly impacted their lives.
"No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another." - Charles Dickens
Spotlight on YOU!
Community is not where we live, but who we are. Frisco residents gathered together the morning of November 10th to mark Veteran's Day and to celebrate their community pride at the annual Frisco Community Parade. The amount of community camaraderie was a sight to see, and Frisco Family Services had a blast handing out candy and celebrating the city we get to call home, that is made special because of all of YOU!
Community pride did not end there... YOU make preventing hunger possible. Later that day, Frisco Family Services' held our annual Community-Wide Food Drive, to help us meet the increase in demand for our Food Pantry services.

Thank you for your generous donations to Frisco's only community Food Pantry, and for ensuring our local Frisco and Frisco ISD neighbors in crisis do not go hungry.
Thankful for YOU! Our Thanksgiving Meal Program took place t he Saturday before Thanksgiving, and provided individuals, families and seniors going through difficult times with all the ingredients needed to prepare a traditional Thanksgiving meal in the comfort of their own home, as well as a game or movie that everyone could enjoy together.
Because of the donations provided by generous community members, groups, foundations and faith-based partners,
769 of our local neighbors in crisis had a table full of food this Thanksgiving!
Spotlight on our Board of Directors! Alongside other dedicated volunteers, members of our Board of Directors came together and made distributing turkeys and all the trimmings to 769 of our local neighbors possible!

Thank you for being part of our very CARING community!
