Arkansas Hospice recognizes the special opportunity we have to care for the men and women who sacrificed to protect our freedom. With one out of every four dying Americans being a veteran, combined with the critical issues faced by many of those who have served, Arkansas Hospice has developed Committed to Veterans to address these needs in conjunction with their hospice care.

Speaking of Grief podcast launches April 1st

“Speaking of Grief” is a frank conversation about death, loss and grief presented by Arkansas Hospice Director of Bereavement Barbara Ross and bereavement specialists Jamie Boshears & Simone Brock. Episodes tackle topics and questions in a compassionate, and even humorous manner. Topics address about how everyone’s journey of grief is unique to them, along with help for the listener to navigate their own path through loss.

For more than two decades, Bill Waters served our country as a C-130 loadmaster. Now, as an Arkansas Hospice volunteer, he brings honor and recognition to his fellow veterans during their final days.

Thank you for showing your kindness!

Thanks to all of you who made our Cookies of Kindness campaign a sweet success! We sold more than 160 boxes of cookies during the month of February, allowing us to raise $1,500 to help our patients and families.

We are grateful to the Blue Cake Company for partnering with us to make this possible. We look forward to working with them again next year to make this an even a greater success. February is a great month to celebrate love but any day is a perfect day to be kind.
