May 2016

Financial Tip of the Month: Most of us work towards the big goals, such as retirement or a cottage, by trying to save each month.  Without a true cashflow system, we often find that we must tap into these savings when surprises happen.  However, by re-allocating how you spend, setting up a "cash flow plan", you can reset your savings to stay on track more often and to meet both the "short-term" and long-term goals.  As well, you'll find it easier to reach these goals. Its new and it's called Cash Flow Planning.

Who does Cash Flow Planning work for?
  1. You make a good living, but wonder if you have enough to show for it.
  2. Your current strategy is all about product, not about your plan.
  3. You are committed to funding your dreams, and willing to take steps to get there.

Portraits of Giving 2016: Wednesday April 13

This year, I was a sponsor for the 7th Annual Portraits of Giving event.

This unique exhibit celebrates dedicated people who use giving back to make a difference in our community of York Region.  The event uses photography and personal stories to honour these special people.

I presented the award to Melanie Delicato of Staples, the Richmond Hill Honoree.

Congratulations Melanie!

Janine and her team are always extremely helpful and accommodating, regardless of the situation or inquiry ... or size of my portfolio. It's been a rewarding personal experience having Janine as my financial 'guru'.
