Haines City Spreads its WINGS

The Haines City CRA recently launched a citywide arts initiative, Haines City WINGS, as a way to beautify the city and to engage with residents and visitors.

The project started as an eight-mural arts experience to breathe new life and vitality into the community, and encourage business-resident connectivity, support diversity and unify the city.

Haines City WINGS has even gained attention from globally recognized artist, Colette Miller, the originator of "The Global Angel Wings Project" created in 2012 in Los Angeles. To show her support for the project, Miller plans to visit Haines City to paint an original mural on March 7-9, 2019.

Great work using the arts to not only restore essential regions in the city, but to also bring people together!

Sharing Redevelopment Success Stories
CRAs are breathing new life into communities across Florida.

Sharing redevelopment success stories is essential to showing the  importance of CRAs to our communities. Our collection of Redevelopment Works videos highlight the important work of CRAs around Florida, including Southeast Overtown/Park West, Gainesville, Pensacola and Tallahassee. The videos include interviews with small business owners, community members and CRA leaders, who share their perspectives on how CRAs are transforming communities.

We encourage you to share these videos on your social media pages and websites to help raise awareness about the great work that CRAs do, and show how #RedevelopmentWorks.
