Research shows the value of physical activity for all children in grades K-5, but for students who learn differently, that frequent activity can be even more beneficial.

This summer, Woodlynde School will debut its new and expanded playground.

Featuring an ideal mix of physical activity, dexterity activity, and plain old fun, the new playground will include 14 swings, a climbing tree, a balance wheel, two spring-based balance beams, and a traditional combination climb and slide.

A new gaga pit will also be installed next to the playground, and supervised students will have access to the school's upper field.
