In the Community: Safe Kids

Safe Kids Cabarrus recently held a Car Seat Checking Station and Safety Event at the Community Church in Mount Pleasant. They had a fire truck, Sheriff Deputy vehicles, vendors, and Concord Fire Department's Fire Safety House on site. Thank you to everyone who made the event possible!

Quick Facts: Child Care Health Consultants

Child Care Health Consultants (CCHC) are registered nurses with the Cabarrus Partnership for Children who provide training and on-site assistance to improve the health and safety of children and prevent the spread of communicable disease in Cabarrus County child care centers.

During the last fiscal year, our CCHCs provided training to 142 child care providers from 26 child care facilities in Cabarrus County. This included ITS/SIDS training and CPR classes offered by our CCHCs throughout the year.
